This is a new greenfield public hospital project and the winner of a National tender. The new Tung Chung Hospital is
being developed the management of the Architectural Services Department of the Government of HKSAR. The Design/Build contract for the phase 1 of the project involves an 8 storeys building comprising 160 inpatient
beds, Operating Suite, Emergency Department, Medical Imaging, Pharmacy and major Outpatient Services. The hospital also includes the full range of support services including Catering, Morgue and Laundry. The total
construction floor area is approximately 43,000 square meters.
